Rapid emergency response
When your septic system fails, call us first
A septic emergency is a health hazard. Raw sewage backing up into your home, overflowing onto your property, or pooling near waterways needs immediate attention — not a callback on Monday morning.
We provide same-day emergency pump outs and assessments across Gippsland. Our trucks carry everything needed to resolve the immediate issue on the spot.
Common septic emergencies
- Sewage backing up into sinks, showers, or toilets inside the house
- Tank overflow — sewage surfacing around the tank lid or in the yard
- Drain field failure — soggy, foul-smelling ground above the absorption trenches
- AWTS alarm sounding — indicating system malfunction or high water level
- Heavy rain flooding — groundwater infiltration overwhelming the system
What to do while you wait
- Stop using water in the house — no flushing, no showers, no washing machine
- Keep children and pets away from any sewage on the ground
- Don't open the tank lid yourself — gases inside can be dangerous
- If sewage is inside the house, ventilate the area and avoid direct contact
Pricing
Emergency pump outs range from $500 to $1,000+ depending on timing, location, and severity. After-hours and weekend call-outs incur a surcharge. We'll always tell you the cost before we start.
